New website: All the little details!

This year PRIAPE is celebrating its 50th anniversary with a new website, faster, more efficient, and easier to use.

We've been online since 1996 and had several website changes over the years. But this time the change quite bigger. Everything under the hood has changed. It means we had to make choices, as we could not copy and get everything.

For most customers this won't be an issue, but we understand some might have troubles dealing with the change. But rest assured, we're here to help! This page is all about the "little technical details" you should know. 

What changed?

You will notice a faster website in general, a quicker and easier checkout process. And of course, a little change of the visuals. But behind all this, you’ll find the same great products you like and the same great service we have been providing for 50 years. We’ve also update some of internal processes to be more eco-efficient.

Do I have to create a new account?

YES, but it is optional. It's easy and take only a minute. An account allows you to save addresses and see past orders. You can create a new account here.

Will my past orders be available?

YES and NO. Only orders made by registered customers from the last 2 years will be available, but you must register with the same email address. If you placed orders as a guest, you won’t be able to see them.

In some cases, we might be able to get you more past orders. Simply contact us and we’ll do our best. And please be patient as we expect to receive many requests.

What about my remaining store credits?

No worries. Customers with remaining stores credits will be contacted individually. If it’s your case, please expect an email from us explaining how to use them on our new website.

What about my Newsletter subscription?

No action from you is needed. If you were subscribed, you are still subscribed. Customers and visitors can subscribe from the website (see the bottom) and unsubscribe from our newsletter emails.

Will my Wishlist items, Reviews and saved carts still be available?

NO, SORRY! Unfortunately, we just can't get the items from the saved Wishlist and carts. We will also be using a new system for product reviews.

Have you updated your Privacy Policy?

YES. Since we get a new system, we have updated our privacy policy to reflect changes. You can read it here.

I can’t find gay porn DVDs.

We have decided to stop selling DVDs online. There are many reasons involved in this decision that are related and unrelated to our new website. It is something we have think about for a few years. You can still get a selection of DVDs in store and visit our Video-On-Demand website: priape.tv.
